 2.  Read the LFTL Junior Councilman Study course.  It can be obtained from the

 3.  Write a report on LFTL based on the study course.  Explain Light for the Lost,
     how it is funded, what they do with their funds, and who benefits from the
     LFTL ministry.

 4.  Obtain a gospel tract autographed by a missionary.  Have a visiting missionary
     autograph a tract, or write a letter to a missionary and ask them to send you
     an autographed tract.  Ask your commander for the address of a missionary if
     you need one.

 5.  Attend a Light for the Lost banquet or an appropriate missions event.  Most
     districts conduct annual LFTL tours.  These are often banquets held on a 
     sectional basis.  Some sections may have rallies instead of banquets.

 6.  Become a Light for the Lost Junior Councilman and actively participate in the
     Junior Councilman program for 1 year.  Your commander must fill out the
     Light for the Lost Junior Councilman application form and return it to the
